Inexpugnable-class cruiser (fan design)

Another ship from my concept work based on the Winx Club animated series dedicated to fix mistakes and expand lore of the series. The Eraklyonian Inexpugnable-class cruiser serving as a backbone of the Eraklyonian royal fleet.

The main roles of such ships are that of battlefield command center and strike force, specifically built for combat. According to concept's lore, Inexpugnable-class cruiser was one of the several ancient starship classes that remain intact and ready for service. Like many Eraklyonian and Solarian capital ships, Inexpugnable-class originates from 16th century where they took part in the last interstellar war. The war devastated almost all major kingdoms, leaving them unable to continue war efforts and having them to decomission capital ships. Eraklyonian and Solarian ones were kept in special docks in flight capable state and, by the modern days, they were put back into active service to fight different threats across Magic dimension (Darkar's forces, criminal sindicates and others). The particular ship shown in render - Santhion - once part of Andreas' fleet during the last interstellar war. After being decomissioned, Santhion was kept on Red Fountain outpost in Neutral worlds to serve as a patrol group headquarters. By the beginning of the concept's storyline, the ship is undergoing retrofit under supervision of one the OG chracters of Winx Club - Helia, who'll have to return Santhion back to Eraklyon once retrofit is complete to serve in crownprince Sky's fleet.

The ship features more rough military-style design with grey and dark-orange paintjob similar to Eraklyon shuttles seen in the original Winx Club series. Primary weapons are 24 plasma turrets, secondary weapons are 33 railgun turrets, all scattered across the hull. Shield generators are placed in 2 arrays, one of which is on the dorsal hull, the other is split in two halves, each on the different sides in front of hangar section. The ship has two engines located on wing sections, each split in 3 thrusters. There are 5 spire arrays - they're communication and sensor arrays. It lacks maneuvering thrusters, using repulsor fields for maneuvering instead, one of the few outdated systems left after being recomissioned and retrofitted (on modern ships repulsor fields are only used as lifting engines). The ship has single hangar bay located on ventral hull around the same size as a single hangar of Valor-class battleship.

The paintjob and hull plating you see here are modern ones, applied after being retrofitted. Older plating and paintjob were much different.
As a source of inspiration I used warship Revenge from Transformers: The Movie (it is a decepticon ship provided by Unicron for Galvatron).

P.S.: do not mistake this ship for Star Wars command ship of the same class name from KotOR era, it's a totally different ship which has no similarities with my ship.
