Shinano-class transport ship (fan design)

Another new starship from my concept work based on Winx Club animated series dedicated to fix mistakes and expand lore of the series (as I call it the "Magix" concept). That's Shinano-class transport ship.

One of the most common starship types used by officials, companies, military and civillians, transport ship is suitable to carry passengers and cargo. It is also able to participate in direct combat with correct modifications. Shinano-class was introduced in the latter half of 20th century by the shipyards of the kingdom of Melody. Typically used as a personal vehicle by civillian pilots all around Magic dimension, having gotten popularity because of its versatility and durability. There's no kingdom without a single Shinano-class wandering through its space. Such popularity, however, led to those ships being part of various criminal units, like the Yoshinoya's syndicate. Some pilots, most of whom are syndicate's operatives, greatly modify their ships, commonly replacing landing gear with additional weapons, like laser cutter for mining or raiding purposes.

Like most of melodian small craft, Shinano-class has smooth and organic hull. The ship's cockpit supports 4 stations, including for commander and co-pilot. There are 4 thin engines grouped in 2, with each group resembling a tilted "T". Main entrance is located between those engine groups. Shinano-class shown in render is of civillian non-modified model, it is armed with only two plasma turrets. The vents seen on dorsal and ventral hull are particle collectors. Antenna-like structures in front of wing-like protrusions and near the engines are sensor arrays.

The Yoshinoya's syndicate version seen here features syndicates standard vine red color scheme with white and red stripes. The symbol on dorsal hull is the syndicate's emblem. This version is mostly of 'homemade assembly'. There are many modules that are either newly installed or replaced. Among the new modules are external reactor, plasma mortars on port and starboard, laser gun below the cockpit and etc. This ship doesn't have landing gear, instead it hovers above the ground when landed. I should note, this is only one possible configuration of Shinano-class transport ship in service of Yoshinoya's syndicate. Different pilots install different plates and modules, after all.

As a source of inspiration I had a Voth Bastion flight deck cruiser from Star Trek Online in mind.
