Cassowary-class frigate (fan design)

One of the shps from my "The Magix" concept work based on Winx Club animated series dedicated to fix mistakes and expand lore of the series. A Cassoway-class frigate in service of the Magix military and the Red Fountain corps.

Frigate is a small capital ship, larger than a corvette but smaller than escort or cruiser, well suited for utilitarian tasks with little to no combat. The Cassowary-class is a military type frigate, being one of the most powerful starship classes in service of Magix and Red Fountain prior to launch of Eagle-class destroyers and Condor-class battlecruisers. This frigate is of fresh design, comissioned into active service right before season 1 Winx Club took place to replace the outdated Nightjar-class frigate line. The ship shown in render is Kallum, a field command center of Helia's patrol group in Neutral worlds. Helia would command the vessel before switching to Santhion, an Inexpugnable-class cruiser his engineers have started to repair around the beginning of the concept's plot.

The other Cassowary-class frigate, Orrin, would be a part of Riven's patrol group until the ship end up being destroyed by the Eridan, a rouge magic ship from Domino.

Like other Magix and Red Fountain capital ships, the Cassowary-class frigate features arrow head shaped hull. Its weapon consist of 12 particle beam cannons and 14 plasma turrets. The ship has two circular engines similar to what Hawk-class assault ship has, and a single hangar bay that carries a fighter squadron. It could also carry transport ship sized craft, if the need arises. The module in front of the hangar is a particle collector.

As a source of inspiration I picked Eagle-class destroyer I made earlier and combined its elements with the Merian-class ship from Star Trek: Discovery (you can also find it in my portfolio).
