Okay, time to redesign the Red fountain ship from the season 1 of Winx Club animated series! Now it's featured in my 'The Magix' concept as Falcon-class transport ship and bears the design much closer to the cartoon counterpart.
One of the most common starship types used by officials, companies, military and civillians, transport ship is suitable to carry passengers and cargo. It is also able to participate in direct combat with correct modifications. Falcon-class is quite an 'old timer' starship, dating to before mid-20th century (the WWII on Earth was going to an end at the time). As Dark dimension conflict has already been in cold stage during 50-60-70s, several of such ships entered Red Fountain corps and Magix military being refitted from civillian haulers into combat transport ships and blockade runner (though this role was dominated by an Ouzel-class transport ship). By the late years of this war, Red Fountain fleet had around its 50-60% filled by Falcon-class ships, and many were used as kind of assault ships (many ships of this type were downed, and Hawk-class was only on blueprints). One of the Falcons was in use by main concept's team, KR-32, and was piloted away by one of its members, Avery, when Attack on Domino Prime ended in the planet's devastation, leaving Avery a sole surviving KR-32 member for next 18 years, until Winx and their boys from KT-29 team were able to revert Domino Prime to former glory. By the present day, Falcon-class has more or less fallen out of military usage and returned to its civillian roots (thus explaining disappearance of its cartoon counterpart from season 2 onwards) - and it's still possible to see this ship as haulers, passenger spaceliners and simply as personal vehicles.
It streamlined, water drop shaped hull is atypical design for Red Fountain craft, and it was derived from several ship building schools of Magical dimension, primarily Solarian ones. Its interior is divided into two decks. The upper deck is split in two rooms - forward one is cockpit (4 seats for crewmembers and 8 extra seats), second one is multi-purpose. Typically used as briefing room. Lower decks has main hallway leading from entrance ramp to the ladder which allows access to upper deck, and two cargo holds. As such, Falcon-class has about the same size as Hawk-class assault ship. The ship's engine is an array of smaller nozzles lit blue. There are two exposed levitators seen at the rear ventral hull, as it is common feat seen on Red Fountain ships. There are also two hidden levitators in the nose section. The ship's armaments include 6 blaster turrets by default, but extra weaps can be placed. When landed, ramp is lowered to allow access from the front of the ship, and three landing strats are released (instead of 4 I originally did).
Yeah, I know, the ship doesn't look as the same as in the series. Frankly said, I've never had intention of creating the exact copy of the ship - at least something similar.
