U.S.S. Hiawatha TOS

This is USS Hiawatha from Star Trek: Discovery season 2.

I decided to do this model during release of the season of Discovery after seeing how series stylistics contradicted the stylistics of TOS era (it is set 10 years before the TOS). Nevertheless, she retains many details from the DIS model - at least the hull shape, pylons and nacelles.

In the Discovery, the Hiawatha was the medical frigate during the Federation-Klingon war of the 2256-2257. It was hit during the fight and crashed into the asteroid with unstable gravity fields, with only Jett Reno and several injured officers in comatose state surviving until the arrival of the USS Discovery after the war. They all were rescued from the derelict Hiawatha before the asteroid was incinerated.
