U.S.S. Armstrong, Armstrong class TOS

This is USS Armstrong of the eponymous class ship from the Kelvin timeline first appearing in 2009 movie. It's my fan-made The Original Series styled refit of the said class.

Earlier I've been modelling Star Trek: Discovery season 1 ships to look suited for the TOS era. Once I thought about doing the same thing with Kelvin timeline ships - at least do it with the 3-nacelled Armstrong-class.

Nevertheless, she retains many details from the Kelvin timeline model - at least the hull shape and the nacelle positioning.

I've done two variations of the class - the USS Armstrong, base variant with gray hull, and the USS Excelsior, extra variant with brown-colored hull that appears in 2013 movie.

What is known about USS Armstrong, this is one of the eight ships dispatched to Vulcan, where it was one of the seven ships destroyed during encounter with the Narada (only USS Enterprise survived because she arrived later).
