Another ship from my concept work based on Winx Club animated series dedicated to fix mistakes and expand lore of the series. Now, it is Devaloka-class flight deck cruiser, a capital ship class of Kingdom of Melody navy.
The ship is capable of direct combat, but is recommended to stay behind the front lines since this class commonly plays roles of command center and, as name of the ship type suggests, aircraft carrier. According to lore of the concept, this is brand new starship, along with majority of other big vessels. They'll be built and deployed to counter various threats that will be prominent in the concept, mainly Darkar's forces, Dolonian rebels, Yoshinoya's sindicate and others - all of which will appear later, after hunting down the rogue magical ship. Devaloka-class is based on Melodian magical ships of the 15th century, albeit with much smoother design. However, Devaloka-class is not a magical ship. Operated jointly by navy and magic corps of Melody. This particular vessel - Osaka - is the flagship of Melodian navy, commanded by paladin Hao'Rin, who is friend of Musa's family. Also he is Musa's colleague at Melodian magic corps and, later, headmaster of this organization. His niece, blind samurai fairy Rickie, possibly would join 'Rin on Osaka, but until then she would remain with Musa.
Hull design is smooth and vertical-oriented. Underside of the hull is shaped like the old sea-dwelling ships, making Devaloka-class capable of landing on water (highly recommended to land on low speed, otherwise it can break off its secondary hull located on the underside). Main weapons are 52 plasma turrets. Secondary weapons are 28 pulse laser beam emitters. There are 4 shield generator arrays scattered across the ship - each on the dorsal hull, ventral secondary hull and both detached sections. Spires that can be seen next to shield generators are communication arrays. The ship has only two engines. Speaking of detached sections, according to the lore of the concept, it is unique technology developed by Melody in the 18th century, based on already existing structural integrity field. This new technology is called holding integrity field. It is projected from emitters hidden under the hull and "attaches" floating sections to the main hull. Movement between sections is provided by magical 2-way portals (more conventional Star Trek-like transporters are prohibited in the concept), communications between them is laser-based (like ones use on some terran artificial satellites), emitters scattered all over the sections to prevent data loss (and they're too tiny to be modelled). To prevent forced disconnection, holding integrity field is supported by additional force field, which deflects everything large enough to separate sections from the hull. Devaloka-class has two detached sections, each contains long-range sensors and a main caliber similar to discharger installed on Zenithian Angara-class battlecruisers - the only difference being the Devaloka-class' discharger is magically powered. Main hull also has observation lounge located at the aft section. The ship has a total of 12 hangars, their total capacity exceeds both hangars of Condor-class battlecruiser.
Main sources of inspiration are Vulcan Suurok-class ship and UEDF ship from Star Trek.
