Owl-2-class raider

And now, the starship from Winx Club animated series. This is reimagined version of an Owl from season 8, where it was used by Sky's team. I called it Owl-2 class raider, as it is called in my "Magix" concept work.

Raider ship type is more combat-oriented version of transport & attack ships like Owl-class from most previous Winx Club seasons. According to my concept's lore, Owl-2 class was already active long before season 8 took place. It is brand new raider developed to replace outdated Shrike-class raider line in service since early 20th century. Owl-2 class doesn't replace its previous generation namesake.

First Owl-2 prototypes were built around season 5 of the series. Their design was based on Domino's ships designs - this why Owl-2 looks different from other Red fountain and Magix ships. During season 6 Owl-2 prototypes entered field testing, its test pilots included concept's protagonist, Alec. Shortly before season 8 Owl-2 was comissioned into active service, Alec gave his Owl-2 to Sky and his team.

Most features are the same like in season 8. Its hull design is mostly smooth and organic. Owl-2 has three engines - two main engines are mounted on nacelles and a lift engine located at the bottom. But many features are absent or changed - for example, most of the hull illumination is nonexistent (otherwise the ship would seem to be like streetracer sports car, not combat vehicle). The ship controls the same as on previous generation Owl - the Star Trek type - the touch consoles placed on a horseshoe-shaped station under the canopy, all lit green (instead of orange). In addition to existing plasma turret I added forward-facing blaster cannons. Finally, command chair is removed from the center and moved to front. There are also 10 extra seats for passengers or troopers. Ship retains its tractor beam module in front section, now accompanied by two 6-tubed missile launchers. Another addition are front lights similar to previous generation Owl.

Yeah, I know, the ship doesn't look as the same as in the series. Frankly said, I've never had intention of creating the exact copy of the ship - at least something similar.
