Serenity, Kalarin-class medical frigate (fan design)

Here goes a ship designed specifically for my "The Magix" concept work based on Winx Club animated series dedicated to fix mistakes and expand lore of the series. Kalarin-class medical frigate, one of the capital ship classes active before the comissioning of the larger military ship classes that will occur later in the concept's plot.

Frigate is a small capital ship, larger than a corvette but smaller than escort or cruiser, well suited for utilitarian tasks with little to no combat. As such, many frigates find their way into the civillian hands, typically scientific and medical corps. The Kalarin-class is produced in the Magix kingdom since mid 19th century and typically used as a science or medical vessel, with only small number being the military ships. Can be found in most of the major kingdoms of the Magic dimension. The ship shown in render is the Serenity, a medical frigate comissioned by the Magix medical corps. Mainly it acts as a hospital ship with the most effective medical equipment in the Magix kingdom, being capable of taking care of more than a 1000 patients. Commonly the Serenity is deployed as support craft for a Red Fountain task force for long and/or dangerous missions. And sometimes the ship can be sent as a search and rescue force to locations of natural or technogenic cataclysms, lifting out debris and taking care of the wounded. From time to time, the Serenity is commanded by one of the Winx Club series characters - Flora. Her sister, Miele, is stationed on the vessel as a medic.

The Kalarin-class frigate has both rough and smooth details, the latter mainly seen in the curved 'tubes' going from the front and engine pods to the engineering section - a feature shared by most of the elven ship designs. Yes, this ship has been designed by the elves. These 'tubes' generate energy field that can reflect incoming energy, absorb and distribute it across the ships systems or emit energy of any type, like tractor beam (which the Serenity uses in search and rescue operations) or particle beam array (for self defence purposes). The glowing light blue lines on the 'tubes' are the energy emitters. Two larger emitters - for energy absorption - are located on the top and lit purplish blue. This whole system is magically powered - the only system on the ship powered unconventionally (fully magical ships are no longer in use beacuse of a bad history with them, check the description of Eridan I've created earlier for more info). The ship has two main engines located on pods separate from the main hull. The ship's hangar capacity is limited only to two Osprey-class transport ships despite its much larger entrance. The entrance itself is equipped with two retractable platforms for two additional ships - not larger than an Osprey-class. With platforms pulled out, there would be enough space for single Osprey-class sized ship to come through. The ship's bridge is located in the frontal section to make easier for commander to oversee the search and rescue operations. The light blue identification mark seen on the frontal and aft section is a Magix' identification mark, based on a mark painted on Red Fountain craft from season 1 of Winx Club series (the craft that became a Falcon-class transport ship in my concept).

As sources of inspiration I took Benthan ships and klingon Vor'cha battlecruiser from Star Trek.
