Emerald Chain Viridian

hat is my fan-made recreation of one of the starships seen is the season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery. It is a Viridian, the flagship of Emerald Chain under the command of Minister Osyraa.

The ship appears in the latter half of the season 3. Firstly it engages in firefight with the Booker's ship (commandeered by Keyla Detmer and Ryn). Then it captures USS Discovery near the Verubin nebula with Osyraa taking the posession of the ship. Viridian was later destroyed after USS Discovery (now under Starfleet control) detonated its ejected warp core inside the Viridian's hangar bay before spore-jumping away.

It features three hull section detached from each other, which is pretty common for the 32nd century. This asymmetric and weird design can be explained, according to Star Trek Online, as a combination of parts of starships and technologies from the cultures that got under the Emerald Chain's hood. It has 45 movable weapon turrets placed all along the ships - every turret is mounted on the rotable platform that is absent on the STO and/or the series' model. Thus the Viridian is one of the few Star Trek ships that use turret mounted weapons instead of more usual emitters (mostly such turrets can be found the 22c ships like NX-class and Harrad-Sar's barge). Engine lights are also absent on the original models.

I know, it's not as good as in Star Trek Online, I just tried to recreate the ship on my own.
