U.S.S. Le Guin, Mars-class

That is my fan-made recreation of one of the starships seen is the season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery. It is a Mars class USS Le Guin.

Overall shape of the hull resembles a bug when viewed from certain angles. The strange design of nacelles is explained in Star Trek Online to be the alternative to dilithium-based warp drive which was unsuccessful and was rebuilt into weapon that unleashed subspace waves at enemy ships (it is reffered in-game as Subspace Cavitation Matrix) with warp drive remaining standard dilithium-based.

The name and registry are not seen at all in the series. Only the name has been referenced in the beginning of epsode 6 without confirmation of the ship class.

I know, it's not as good as in Star Trek Online, I just tried to recreate the ship on my own.
